Annandale

Chaska

Chaska is a wonderful suburb of Minneapolis. Chaksa is full of parks and trails, outdoor recreation, shopping, and good restaurants. It’s also home to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum that you can visit all year round for a variety of activities and displays. The perfect mix of city and nature.

Coon Rapids

Crystal

Crystal is a fully developed, first tier suburban community just west of Minneapolis in Hennepin County. The city became a Home Rule Charter City in 1960 and has a population of more than 23,000 residents.
The city’s mission is to improve and promote the quality of life for all Crystal citizens and provide municipal services in a cost-effective, innovative, and professional manner. Amenities include the Crystal Cove Aquatic Center, Crystal Community Center, parks and trails, a variety of programs and services for all ages, well-groomed sports fields, and the redeveloped Crystal Shopping Center.

Deephaven

The lake community of Deephaven is located near Lake Minnetonka, a 14,000-acre body of water with more than 100 miles of shoreline. On the lake’s east side, you’ll find the city of Minnetonka, a community 20 minutes west of the Twin Cities with a population of nearly 60,000. Other lake communities include Orono, Shorewood, Wayzata, and many more. Impressive homes line these various communities’ lush parks and of course, the lake.

Delano

Eagan

Eagan is the largest city in Dakota County, Minnesota. Its landscape is made up of rolling hills laced with nearly 1,200 small lakes, wetlands, and ponds. Eagan is a community known for its trees. It is the 8th largest city in the state with just over 69,000 people. Eagan is south and equal distance to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Just across the Minnesota River is the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Edina

Many move to this charming suburb, 15 minutes southwest of Minneapolis, for the top-rated school district but Edina also offers great shopping, recreation, and dining. Centennial Lakes Park hosts outdoor ice skating in beautiful surroundings, and the summertime Edina Art Fair brings visitors from across the country. Numerous neighborhoods present their own special vibes, spanning historic architecture, and high-end modernism. Whether you’re looking for a garden to stroll through, an ice rink to skate on or a course to play golf, Edina has a place for that. The City operates and maintains nearly 40 parks and recreational facilities including a dozen warming houses.

Elk River

Since its incorporation in 1977, transportation has played a significant role in the growth of this business friendly community. Its location on Highways 10, 169, and 101, along with its close proximity to Interstate 94 and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, makes it the ideal address for outward migrating companies from Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, and beyond. The Northstar Commuter Rail makes it easier than ever to travel between Big Lake and Minneapolis, with stops in Elk River, Ramsey, Anoka, and Fridley. With over 1,400 acres of parks, an abundance of trails, and plenty of activities and events for everyone to enjoy, Elk River is a wonderful place to be!

Excelsior

The City of Excelsior is located only 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, nestled on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. You can find a relaxed and personalized atmosphere in this one-square-mile area with a population of 2,397. The city is a unique blend of old and new. The North Loop neighborhood (also known as the Warehouse District), slightly north of downtown Minneapolis, attracts young professionals with its revamped, exposed-brick warehouse lofts and upscale-industrial apartments offering skyline views and a spectacular array of restaurants and entertainment, all within walking distance!

  • Walker Art Center

    The Walker Art Center is a multi-disciplinary contemporary art museum located in Minneapolis’s Lowry Hill neighborhood.  The collection began in 1879 as a personal art gallery in the home of Thomas Barlowe Walker, and was formally established as a public art gallery in 1927.  It is now housed on a 17 acre campus, which includes the iconic Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and Cowles Conservatory.
  • Mill City Museum

    The Mill City Museum, built in the ruins of the Crosby-Washburn “A” Mill and first opened in 2013, is a great place to learn about the history of the city of Minneapolis.  Exhibits focus on the industries that used hydropower from St. Anthony’s Falls, in particular milling, and how these industries lead to the growth of Minneapolis.  Visitors can enjoy a multi-story ‘Flour Tower’ that showcases historic flour mill equipment as well as artwork by local artists.  The museum also hosts “Mill City Live,” a series of outdoor concerts featuring Twin Cities musicians on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
  • The Bakken Museum

    The Bakken Museum, dedicated to inspiring a passion for innovation in science and technology, is currently the world’s only museum and library devoted to the history of medical electricity.  It was founded by Earl Bakken, who invented the first portable and implantable cardiac pacemakers, and started the medical technology company Medtronic.  Exhibits are suitable for all ages and range from practical displays about electricity and the history of medicinal plants to imaginative displays offering visitors a chance to peek into Frankenstein’s laboratory.
  • Minnesota Baseball Instructional School

Ironton

The City of Ironton, Minnesota is in the midst of the Cuyuna Iron Range and was established in 1911. The rich history of mining manganese-rich iron ore is what the town was built on when immigrants from northern and southern Europe settled in the area looking for jobs in the mines. With the closing of mining operations in the area around the 1980’s, the community has since enjoyed the beautiful scenery that now is part of the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area.

    Abandoned by mining companies over 35 years ago, this trail passes many lakes that were once mine pits. For thrill seekers there is a specially designed 25 mile system for singletrack mountain bikes.

 

Lake Elmo

Lake Elmo is a community of communities, with over 30 distinct neighborhoods serviced by the best transportation system in the Twin Cities. Lino Lakes

The City of Lino Lakes covers an area of 33 square miles on the north side of the Twin Cities in Anoka County. The pristine 5,500-acre Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Preserve is situated within the heart of the city, guaranteeing the area will maintain its natural settings and wildlife habitats in the years to come.
